WCSUG is the premiere SAS® Users Group for the Greater Chicagoland Area. Our group caters to SAS® users of all types, and experience levels, from working professionals, to students. We are an all-volunteer organization, run by a leadership team, and set of officers, that possess a unique set of technical and industry experience.
Through our meetings, our members can network with SAS® users, and access SAS® resources, including career opportunities, training opportunities, and learn about SAS® products. To promote the exchange of technical ideas, our meetings feature technical presentations on relevant SAS® topics.
We hold meetings in several different formats, and time periods. Our events include webinars and in person networking.
We encourage you to explore our meeting formats, and attend our meetings.
We also work lead the other groups around the Chicago area. The Schaumburg Group, Northern Illinois (Lake Cook Rd).
The mission of the Windy City SAS® User Group (WCSUG) is to build a community of people that use SAS. Our goal is to grow this SAS Community here in the Chicago Metropolitan SAS® and see how far it goes. Our group serves as a forum for SAS® users of all types including SAS® developers, programmer/analysts, business analysts, SAS® administrators, statisticians, and modelers, and other information technology and analytic professionals.
We hold webinars and in person networking events.
Our webinars are informative and typically during a Lunch Hour.
We announce our events via Meetup and now Slack.
We encourage SAS paper authors, presenters and speakers to accept our open invitation and get booked on our agenda.
To speak and present to our group simply contact Zeke Torres to get on our schedule.
Our Chicago Metro Groups collaborate with other urban metro groups like:
Los Angeles, Dallas, UK, Ireland, Germany and beyond.
With over 1,600 members in the metro Chicago area alone.
Our group works smart to promote our events and reach beyond our area.
